Effectively Coupled

Tow-bars from SMV have one thing in common. They are tremendously practical, subdued in appear and always tailor-made for the particular purpose. You only have to give the vehicle and construction data, then a suitable coupling will be present almost automatically. If you want to use an alternative or even an additional carrying system later, the tow-bar will usually form the basis for installation, and this will not have to be bought specially.
All versions of the SMV trailer frames are either TÜV tested (comparable to MOT) or carry an EG type authorisation. The carrying load is calculated from the d-value in kN given and the permissible total weight of the towing vehicle. This can be restricted by the chassis or body manufacturer.
